Remarks: Part of the Australian Cooperative Digitisation Project, the aim is to provide web access to digital copies of approximately 74 Australian periodicals first published between 1840 and 1845 and listed in Bibliography of Australia by John Alexander Ferguson. Titles being progressively digitised include both newspapers and journals. The full text is not searchable but it is possible to search for words in the title or, where available, the table of contents. The list of titles included can be browsed alphabetically, chronologically and under broad subject headings
